We are closing Unity Nest
It’s with a bittersweet feeling that we announce the closing of Unity Nest on March 30th, 2024. From the very first day, our goal was to create a space that not only supported work and creativity but also built a community of NGOs, volunteers, and IT professionals who could thrive together.

However, each of us should be aware of the possible consequences for the environment and people living in the flooded area.

Meet AI!
Even before we opened our coworking space, we mentioned that one of the participants in our project is artificial intelligence, namely ChatGPT. And this is not a joke or an attempt to catch some hype. It all started with a question: “Suggest 10 names for a coworking space that is focused on helping NGOs and volunteers.” In fact, we didn’t like any of the names, but among them we saw the word “Nest” and decided that it was a good replacement for the boring “Space” or “Hub”.
Couple words on history
Let’s tell you a little bit about the house we live in.
Our house is the Shpolyansky house, which was built in the middle of the nineteenth century. The exact date of its construction is unknown, but when our workers were doing repairs, they found a 3 kopeck silver coin minted in 1842.
The house is an architectural monument, and the 20 cast-iron columns that are located inside the building and serve as a support function are protected by the state.

Meet our main donor - Lifting Hands International, a charitable foundation from the United States.
Founded in 2016, the foundation operates in different countries around the world. Since March 2022, they have been responding quickly and effectively to the needs of Ukraine, supporting communities on the front line, providing medical care and social and emotional support throughout the country.
